Life Lately (craziness....)

Life lately has been ALL kinds of crazy! Let me just put this in understandable terms for you:
My usual schedule: class 9 am-1 pm, go to the gym 2-3, work (I coach Parowan's 7th and 8th grade volleyball players) 3:30-5:30, come home and grocery shop or start dinner 5:30-8, homework 8-10, Netflix for a bit then go to sleep. I have gone to Richfield and/or Provo/Salt Lake for the past three weekends in a row, and I'm going again this weekend. Monday nights I have city league volleyball; Tuesdays, I don't have class (hip hip hooray!) so I do a lot of cleaning and homework. I usually have a volleyball game on Tuesday nights; Thursdays, I don't have class but I have a practicum at the SUU Preschool from 9:30 am-12 pm and then I come home and clean, catch up on homework, make lunch/dinner.
I am also SO excited that I got a new job! I will be working at the wonderful Recycled Consign and Design and couldn't be happier! I'll be working Wednesdays and Saturdays! (Luckily, volleyball is almost over or I'd be dying!)
With all of this, I still try to fit in date nights, nights with friends, and anything FUN but it doesn't happen often... Especially with Race's schedule. Are you ready to cry for both of us?
Race: wake up at 5:45 for weights/conditioning, come back and sleep for 1/2 hour to an hour, go to school from 9 am-2 pm, practice at 3/3:30 until 5/5:30 (doesn't have time to come home for lunch), study hall is usually from 6-7 or 7-8 so he usually doesn't come home for dinner either (Yep, he's basically starving ha), then shoot around/practice from 9-10/10:30.... Comes home, does some homework, goes to sleep by midnight and has to wake up less than six hours later to do it all again!!! Bless his little heart.
So you do the math... Do I see my husband much? Nope. :) but we love our crazy, busy life anyway!!! Here's to two and a half more years of pure craziness!
I'm also really excited for basketball games to start.. His first is on November 1st! I'm dreading him leaving me every other weekend, but I'm so excited to watch him improve this year!
I used to always laugh and shake my head at this quote, but that's only because I never realized how true it is!
"We interrupt this marriage to bring you the basketball season."
Let's just say I have a love hate relationship with the sport... I probably always will.
We are so blessed and so happy even though we are crazy busy!
Here are some pictures of the past few weeks:
Our friends John and Lexi got a mini Gus! His name is Hank, and we love that Gus now has a playmate!

Our poor dog... There's no one I feel worse for than him. He has been chewing up our whole apartment while we're gone for so many hours in the day, so we had to get a kennel and he has to stay in it while we are gone. It's the saddest thing, but the best thing we could do so he doesn't chew anything more up... You don't even want to know the things he's chewed. Let's just say I've broken down crying more than once. It's too bad I love him so much!

Our new friends Dayana and Trajan! We love them.... And she loves shopping.... Like a lot.... So we are in for something bad. :/

Obviously, when we aren't running around Cedar half mad, we are hangin out with our BFF Gus. He's really the coolest.

Race's parents got a mini Aussie but he's brown! Welcome to the family Gunner!
My dad needs a grandchild in the worst way.... He plays patty cake with Gus every time he sees him.

My friend McKell got married to her high school sweetheart in Manti last week. Such a beautiful wedding, and it felt so good to be inside the temple amidst everything crazy going on!

Conference weekend was HEAVENLY, even though I think Race only watched about 1/2 hour of all of conference.... #basketball

Here's to more craziness, but loving it!

Xo, Carly
